Shimmery Resist

In March, I will be doing a Resist Class at Scrapbook Haven. This is one of the cards. This also is for the Stamping with Shimmer Sprays over on the Moxie Fab blog. I stamped solid stamps from CTMH in Versamark and used clear embossing powder, then sprayed with a green Smooch Spritz. I just wish you could see the shimmer, that is so hard to see in a photo!

Feb Class/Paper Piecing

i know this is a blurry pic, but i wanted you to see what the 3rd card in the Feb class is going to be. the smaller it is the better the pic looks. i made this at the Scrapbook Haven, and i forgot my camera. this is from my phone, and it is not as good as Dave's phone's camera, that's for sure!

we are using Sea Salt Bazzill, Bo Bunny's Raspberry Dot, a brown plaid that we used in another card, and Close to My Heart stamp set: Let's Shop. on her shoes, and necklace are Hot Pink Rhinestones.

Masking & PPA77 Sketch Challenge

This card accomplishes 2 things: Sketch Challenge PPA77 over on the Pals Paper Arts blog, & is a sample for my next class.
This is a quick card to help learn masking. The stamps are from Close to my Heart, called Welcome Home. The paper is SEI Chickadoo: Jibber Jabber, and Echo Park: Happy Holidays(brown plaid). The last class lasted a little longer than planned, because coloring takes time. So this one is going to be shorter and much more fun! Hope to you soon!

This is one of the cards that we will be making in my next Jan 14th class. The class is a Technique class, and this card features watercoloring with an Aquapen and regular stamping inks. New Card Organizer Class

WOW! it has been so long since i have made a blog post, i have forgotten which order to upload the pics. Sorry about that!
Anyway, my next class at Scrapbook Haven in Owensboro is coming up fast. Friday, October 15th, 2010(2 classes 10am & 6pm) is almost here, and i forgot to post a pic of what we will be doing.
This is the book for all the cards you need to send out on certain dates.
We are using a new line of paper from Echo Park, called A Walk in the Park. And it comes with a sticker sheet so that you can design your own cover for your book. This is just what I chose, (believe me! i kept trying to get carried away with all those flowers!) and in the end, went sweet and simple. But those duckies were calling out to me, maybe someone in class will choose those.
It even has blue rings that match exactly the cover pages!
And calendars for each month, so you can remember those important dates!
We also put one extra pocket in the back for misc cards, like Get Well, & Sympathy, because those days pop up with no warning. How great would it be to have those cards on hand for emergencies?!!

Hope to see you in class!!

Tree Tops Supplies Organizer Class

Here is the new class that I will be doing Sept 17, 2010 at Scrapbook Haven in Owensboro, KY. There will be 2 classes that day, 10:30 am & 6:00 pm. We will be using this brand new paper that Vickie has in, called A Walk in the Park by Echo Park Paper Co. This paper line is double sided. I love double sided paper, I usually just have to buy double, tho, to use both sides equally. ;)
The back side of the green polka dot is the tree tops side. I also used some mango paper to stamp on using the Curlz JustRite alpha set, and as a divider sheet. And there is also some BoBunny Back to Backs called Buttercup Dot(yellow polka dot).
You know, I love dewdrops!
And, in case you are giving this as a gift, we must have a gift card with it. I used Nestabilities with this one.
I love those trees so much, I just had to cut a few out for the back side. And the green strip on the back of the book, just finishes it out nicely.
I would love to see you in class! The phone # is on the side bar, so please reserve your spot before they are all gone. :)

January Cracked Glass Car Class

This is my first class for 2010. I am doing a little smaller class this time, just 2 projects, and a little less cost too. We will be making some masculine things for our guys. The main image on the notebook is a stamp from Stampington called "The Car"(original name, don't ya think?). Kim also found some sprockets and gears from Tim Holtz that I just love with this project.
We will be trying out the cracked glass technique on the car image.
Three different colors of gears and sprockets come in a package.

The car below is in a stamp set from TweetyJill called Retro Oceanside.

A Little Birdie Told Me - Sep Class

i am back from vacation, and ready for the class on saturday, 19th, at Serendipity. i already posted a pic of the card made with PTI vellum. but we will also be making 2 notebooks. one with the Bind-It-All, it will be a post-it holder. and the other is a slim notebook that is designed after mish mash's. i am in love with her ideas.

this is the new hero arts stamps that kim will be carrying, called birds & branches. i was trying to decide if i wanted the birdie standing or sitting on the branch, but i think i like him sitting on it, and dangling his little legs. he is colored with Memento Rich Cocoa and koh-i-noor pencils.

the inside has a pocket. the paper for all of these is WeR Memory: Nonsense - Zig Zag & Silly Sally. i am in love with that zig zag, i would have liked to have used it for everything. and i like the opposite side of the silly sally, it is divided into 4 quadrants, with the branches, solid brown, solid red, and the orange polka dots that is shown on the gift tag/bookmark in the first pic.
hope to see you in class.

Glazed Garden Tools

another card for the Fun in the Sun class on Aug 15th. it again uses the SEI Boathouse stripe. i just had to use the gray satin ribbon, because of the sheen on the paper.
notice i also used the glaze pen on the garden tools to make the metal look shiny.
please be sure to check back in on friday for a special blog hop with Serendipity.

Tennis Court Gal

this is another card for the Fun in the Sun class. this has some paper piecing on the tennis gal's shirt. i stamped it on the diagonal (i think it is more slimming). ;)
