FTL258 Challenge

It's been a while since I have stamped, so I looked for a challenge to help me along. This is for Clean & Simple Stamping's sketch challenge.
Yes, Dave, this one is crooked. I didn't notice until i was done. LOL.
I made this one for Michelle, who has a love of green and brown.
Supplies: PTI paper, stamps from A Muse & PTI, ink from PTI & Memento.

Unity May/June Sketch Challenge 04 & MF Tuesday Trigger

I was inspired by Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger colors for this card. I love the yellows and the apricot colors in the inspiration room.
And I used the Sketch Challenge from Unity's May/June monthly challenge, and I used my new All Smiles stamp.  I used watercolor paper, and an aqua pen to apply the ink. My first try, I smeared the black ink. So I painted first, then dried, then stamped the image.

Unity's Friends with Flair

These are a few more of the Anniversary cards that I made for an order last week. I thought I would save them for today's Friends with Flair.  The pear is Unity's 100% Happy store set, and I did a bit of watercolor on it.

The striped paper is SEI, and the sentiment and zigzag stitch are both A Muse stamps.

SEI Happy Anniversary!

I had an order for Anniversary cards, so I pulled out some of my favorite SEI paper, and added an A Muse sentiment.
 This paper has velvet leaves!
This one is my favorite paper. I popped up the panels, and love the effect!

CTS #4

I was in need of some quick Anniversary cards, so I thought I would try out this week's sketch over on the CAS(E) this Sketch blog. I used all A Muse for this one: blackberry paper, Sunflower stamp, and Essential Sentiments, and white ink.

CTS2 & CFC75

I used A Muse Friend to Friend stamps. I colored the leaves with a Koh-i-noor pencil, then topped it with Glossy Accents.

CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #2

This is for CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #2. I used A Muse stamps: Friend to Friend & Essential Sentiments.
I used PTI canyon clay ink spot to drag across the paper, then colored the petals with Memento rhubarb ink, and topped it with glossy accents.

CASE this sketch 1

I am getting frustrated with this new blogger. I can't figure out sometimes how to put spaces in between pics. So I am just going with it this time.
This is for the new blog challenge on CAS(E) this sketch!
I used A Muse sunflower stamp, and sentiment, with PTI snow white ink, on a textured gray cs.

The stamps are both from A Muse.
The designer paper is Basic Grey: Oliver 6x6 paper pad.
The library clip is from Stampin Up.

Focal Point Challenge

This is for Michelle & Corey's anniversary. I also made it for the Moxie Fab Focal Point challenge.
It is a little Faux Watercolored. The flower is from SU's Fabulous Flowers. I inked it in Memento's new Morocco ink, then misted it with water in a mini mister, and stamped, then misted again, and stamped off the edges. The sentiment is AMuse: Essential Sentiments stamped in AMuse gray.
The paper is My Mind's Eye Indie Chic "Ginger". I love that whole pad of paper!!
The focal point of the card is edged in AMuse gray ink, to set it off against the patterned paper.
The PTI scallop edging is PTI gray paper, it matches the MME paper so well!

Unity June & Friends with Flair

This is for Unity's June Challenge: a Summer Card, and this week's Friends with Flair.
This stamp was in a store kit, called 100% Happy, which I still don't know exactly what a store kit is, but it is a great set. This is my favorite stamp in the set.
She looks like she is having such fun, flying the kite! I can tell! I would be!

I used an aquapen and Memento inks. I am pretty happy with the way the sky turned out.
The sentiment is A Muse.

Unity May Stripes Challenge

This is for Unity's monthly challenge, and I think I got in right under the wire, with less than an hour to go. I bought some new paper the other day, MME Indie, and just had to play with it. The challenge was to use stripes, and as soon as I saw the apron, I knew I had to use it. It is from a retired August Store kit that Unity had on their blog last month. I really don't know what a store kit is?? but it has a great mix of stamps.
I was cutting paper for a smaller card that I had already scored and this little prob 2 - 2 1/2" piece was laying on my desk, just asking to be stamped on. So, I thought it could be a little bookmark that is detachable from the card. I cut a slit in the patterned paper before I glued it down, just around the edges.

Michelle gave me a treat bag a couple weeks ago, and it had some A Muse stamps and pearls, and some copics too. So the sentiment is from A Muse, and the pearls were cream, and i used a Copic to change the color! I love that! Thanks again Michelle!

Happy 19th Anniversary, Dave!

Since Dave has seen all of my "love" stamps, I thought I would do something different this year. Love Birds!
I sketched this on my new Paper app, and then printed it on photo paper. Notice the color difference, I love both versions!

Its Not Blurry!

funny story: I have been having contact trouble, but i know you are not too. I stamped this 3 times. Once in green, too light, another in white, still too light, but i could only see it at an angle, then again in aqua mist from PTI. So it looks a little blurry, but it's not! LOL, its just stamped multiple times.
other funny part: I had to stop wearing one of my most fav summer shirts(shrunk too much lengthwise, why does it do that?), that is/was a diagonal stripe. I thought to cut it in strips and make flowers, so this one is the little scallop trim from the neckline. I love it! I asked Dave what he thought of it, and he said it looks like i wanted to keep a shirt i should've thrown out. LOL! He's not big on the dimensional flowers. But that is my fav part of the card!

Stamps: Unity Insightful Meadow, A Muse Thanks
Paper: PTI Aqua Mist, MME

Stampendous Monthly Challenge: Shaped Cards

This is my most favorite Stampendous stamps! The Jumbo Dahlia!
So I just had to enter it in the Stampendous Monthly Challenge, as the prize is their newest Jumbo Hollyhock stamp, and I am dying for it!
I like clear embossing on colored cardstock, and then darkening certain areas.
On this one, I used PTI Summer Sunrise paper, and sponged SU Pumpkin Pie along the edges.
The bee is from Cornish Heritage, and I colored the wings with my gold sparkle pen. And the sentiment is from A Muse. The tag just needed something extra, so I used a Sharpie and went around the edges to make it stand out a bit.

CFC 45 & Friends with Flair

This is for CAS-ual Friday's #45, to use black with a pastel, and also Unity's Friends with Flair.
I am loving Unity's Insightful Meadow set, you are probably getting sick of seeing it. The sentiment is from A Muse. The pastel is PTI's Lavender Moon.
I also borrowed Michelle's butterfly dies from A Muse, and die cut a bunch out of MME Lime Twist: Happy Go Lucky paper pad. Thanks Michelle, I love those butterflies, they make me smile!

Happy Anniversary!

A little while ago, I used some of Michelle's A Muse butterfly dies on some polka dot paper. I like the wings folded up to make it look like they are flying above the A Muse flower.

Cool Tools Week: Embossing & Debossing Challenge

This is for the Moxie Fab Cool Tools Week: Embossing & Debossing Challenge. I just received my new PTI Filigree Border die. I used a rubber mat to see what it would look like embossed, and loved the back side better: debossed!
I stamped the sentiment from PTI Take Three: Summer, then stamped off 2x. The flower is A Muse Marigold Solid that I stamped in Memento Lady Bug then used Versamark and clear embossing powder and then cut out the whole flower.
So, this card has the border DEBOSSED and the flower is clear EMBOSSED! It has both!!

Pay It Forward Challenge

This card is for Moxie Fab's Pay It Forward challenge, the Day of Encouragement card. I stamped PTI's Background Basics: Houndstooth on one edge in Ocean Tides ink. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist:Happy Go Lucky 6x6 pad.
I stamped the A Muse Mad for Plaid zig zag stamp, then stamped it again on the green check paper, then lined it up on the card, so that I wouldn't get one of those gaps of no ink like you get when you stamp on the edge of 2 layers. The butterflies are A Muse dies that Michelle let me use. She is sweet that way! The sentiment is from PTI Everyday Button Bits set.
