Artfully Midnight

this is one of my new favorites. i have been wanting to make square cards but haven't found any square envelopes. recently i found on someone's blog(i can't remember whose now, sorry) that i could use a regular env, seal it, and cut down the side and then fold and glue a patterned paper for a flap. so i made several this week. i love it. if i find a link to that blog i will attach it later. i also used crystal effects to add something shiny.
stamps: artfully asian

Artfully Plaid

this is one of my favorite plaid papers. the card is done with the artfully asian set from stampin up that is soon retiring. i also used the crystal effects on both cards to give it a little something special. i like the shine. the top card is a 5x5.
this one i used a piece of spiral hardware to dress it up a bit.

Guava Riot

it took a while to watercolor this one. i used old olive and artichoke on the leaves. bravo burgandy is in the centers. and the main blooms is so saffron and groovy guava. not much room for anything else. it is also a 5x7 card.

Onesies

i have been wanting to stamp on fabric for a while. i thought i would start with these cute onesies. Target has a 5pack on sale this week.
on the first 2 i used the rock-n-roll technique using my new palette inks from papertrey ink. i love that company, they are superfast with their shipping. i love that.

i also made 3 inch square cards to match using papertrey's new color cardstock. you can click on the pics for a closeup.

this one is made with su craft ink.
i followed instructions others have left on scs threads. i prewashed using no fabric softener, and heatset with an iron. i plan to rewash to see how the inks hold up.
stamps: su garden whimsey, wild about you
inks: su craft old olive, night of navy; papertrey berry sorbet, plum pudding
paper: pti berry sorbet, white
