Late Flourishes Challenge

i loved the layout of this challenge, but since i was late and didn't get to enter the challenge, i didn't use the Flourishes stamps. this is michelle's A Muse mushrooms stamp, and oh, so, cute. it goes so well with this Cosmo Cricket paper. i colored the tops with my aquapen and SU coral ink, and darkened it a bit with Memento potter's clay. but colored the stems with koh-i-noor pencils.

here is another challenge card, this one is for Paper Crafts Go-To Sketches. this is another using michelle's Impression Obsessions damask florals stamps. and the patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket. i used my aquapen again with Memento inks.

CPS Challenge #159

this is my first time trying the CPS challenge, and it was fun.

i got together with The girls to stamp today, and michelle brought her Impressions Obsessions clear stamps: damask floral. i thought they would be perfect for this challenge. since they were clear, i molded the stamp to curl in the opposite direction. i used my aquapen to color the leaves in, and the dp is from Cosmo Cricket. sentiment is SU(upsy daisy).

Crocus

last year, steph sent us a gift certificate for tulips.com for our anniversary. these were some of my purchases. these are the first to bloom. i love the deep purple at the top of the stems.
aren't they pretty? overcast days are best times to take pics of flowers, so there are no shadows on the blooms. you can tell in this one, that it started sprinkling when i was trying to take this.
