PPA74 Sketch Challenge

I loved this sketch because it was so easy to come up with what I wanted to stamp. I used Basic Grey: Mellow designer paper. I have a stash of precut dies from PTI, so it is quick and easy to use. This one is Fillable Frames #5, with a sentiment from #10. The designer paper has a chalky blue polka dot, so I used one of my light blue chalk inks to do the polka dot frame on the diecut. Then I used my fav A Muse blooms in pumpkin pie ink from SU.

Next Peek : Sunflower Scene

This is another card that we will do in the Jan 14th class. The next technique is using colored pencils with blending medium and stumps. It also has some faux stitching on it.

Sneak Peek: Jan Class : Poppy Scene

This is one of the cards that we will be making in my next Jan 14th class. The class is a Technique class, and this card features watercoloring with an Aquapen and regular stamping inks. I love the look of watercolor, and use it most often in my personal stamping and card making. You can learn to do it too!

Glass Necklaces

We had some fun with a Glass Party Pack that I recently found on Etsy. The seller is Annie Howes, and her hand made glass is wonderful! We loved it so much, I bought a few more glass tiles to make a few more necklaces.

And this is a gift that I did for Sabrina, I edited her Eiffel Tower pic to make it a sepia color, and then used my new Tea Dye duo inks from Papertrey Ink to sponge the edges, and then added the glass tile. I think it turned out pretty good, if I say so myself.

The gift box is wrapped with SEI striped paper with a little glam/glitter, and the tag is SEI paper too.
These are the other 2 that I have made for myself. The green/blue/brown one is from some patterned paper.
And this one is a wallpaper for my computer. It was such fun picking all these pics out, and deciding what to do with them.

Card Creations Thank You Challenge

This is my "recycled" card for the Thank You Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. I bought a Fossil purse and there was some tissue paper inside with these cool keys on it. So, I decided to use the faux silk technique for the background, and sponged it with a little old olive ink.
I also used my new PTI Fillable Frames 10 die & stamps, and turned it around so I could see the lines from the cracks in the Cuttlebug plates. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket.

Another Card Creations ~ All Occasions

This one is another one for the Card Creations : All Occasions Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. This is a Stampendous Sunflower Scene stamp colored with my new aquapen and SU and Memento inks. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket, and the sentiment is one from the PTI Fillable Frames line. That bright paper was just calling out for the "sunshine" sentiment!

Card Creations Favorite Occasions Love Week

here is another card i did for the Love Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. i used PTI's Turning a New Leaf stamp set, with a Fillable Frames Die, stamped in Pear Tart from Memento. I also used Memento Lulu Lavender to sponge the edges, and a Plum dew drop ink to get into those scalloped edges for a bit of darker edge. The pearls are from my new cream Pearl Pen from Viva. That is fun to play with, but takes a while to dry.

Card Creations Favorite Occasions Week

hey all! i did this card for the All Occasions Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. I used some great SEI paper that is double sided, and this is both sides. It has some cool silver embossed shapes that resemble snowflakes. the sentiment is from PTI in one of the Fillable Frames sets.
i am linking to the SEI link party!
