PPA74 Sketch Challenge

I loved this sketch because it was so easy to come up with what I wanted to stamp. I used Basic Grey: Mellow designer paper. I have a stash of precut dies from PTI, so it is quick and easy to use. This one is Fillable Frames #5, with a sentiment from #10. The designer paper has a chalky blue polka dot, so I used one of my light blue chalk inks to do the polka dot frame on the diecut. Then I used my fav A Muse blooms in pumpkin pie ink from SU.

Next Peek : Sunflower Scene

This is another card that we will do in the Jan 14th class. The next technique is using colored pencils with blending medium and stumps. It also has some faux stitching on it.

Sneak Peek: Jan Class : Poppy Scene

This is one of the cards that we will be making in my next Jan 14th class. The class is a Technique class, and this card features watercoloring with an Aquapen and regular stamping inks. I love the look of watercolor, and use it most often in my personal stamping and card making. You can learn to do it too!

Cracked Lavender

this Lavender scene is stamped on the backside of Bazzill Wisteria textured paper. i colored it with colored pencils, and used blending stumps with medium. the house is colored with a white gel pen. then i used Utee ultra thick embossing powder, 2 layers, then cracked it once it was dry.
the sentiment is from PTI Everyday Button Bits, and is sponged with Lulu Lavender by Memento.

Glass Necklaces

We had some fun with a Glass Party Pack that I recently found on Etsy. The seller is Annie Howes, and her hand made glass is wonderful! We loved it so much, I bought a few more glass tiles to make a few more necklaces.

And this is a gift that I did for Sabrina, I edited her Eiffel Tower pic to make it a sepia color, and then used my new Tea Dye duo inks from Papertrey Ink to sponge the edges, and then added the glass tile. I think it turned out pretty good, if I say so myself.

The gift box is wrapped with SEI striped paper with a little glam/glitter, and the tag is SEI paper too.
These are the other 2 that I have made for myself. The green/blue/brown one is from some patterned paper.
And this one is a wallpaper for my computer. It was such fun picking all these pics out, and deciding what to do with them.

Card Creations Thank You Challenge

This is my "recycled" card for the Thank You Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. I bought a Fossil purse and there was some tissue paper inside with these cool keys on it. So, I decided to use the faux silk technique for the background, and sponged it with a little old olive ink.
I also used my new PTI Fillable Frames 10 die & stamps, and turned it around so I could see the lines from the cracks in the Cuttlebug plates. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket.

Another Card Creations ~ All Occasions

This one is another one for the Card Creations : All Occasions Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. This is a Stampendous Sunflower Scene stamp colored with my new aquapen and SU and Memento inks. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket, and the sentiment is one from the PTI Fillable Frames line. That bright paper was just calling out for the "sunshine" sentiment!

Card Creations Favorite Occasions Love Week

here is another card i did for the Love Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. i used PTI's Turning a New Leaf stamp set, with a Fillable Frames Die, stamped in Pear Tart from Memento. I also used Memento Lulu Lavender to sponge the edges, and a Plum dew drop ink to get into those scalloped edges for a bit of darker edge. The pearls are from my new cream Pearl Pen from Viva. That is fun to play with, but takes a while to dry.

Card Creations Favorite Occasions Week

hey all! i did this card for the All Occasions Challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. I used some great SEI paper that is double sided, and this is both sides. It has some cool silver embossed shapes that resemble snowflakes. the sentiment is from PTI in one of the Fillable Frames sets.
i am linking to the SEI link party!

MFT Cocoa Holder

This is what I made for the Stitching Challenge over on SCS. I used Debbie Olson's Cocoa Holder Template to make this. The striped paper is from SEI and the brown stripes are glittery! I used a ribbon punch across the bottom to "sew" the ribbon into the paper, and the blanket stitch around the white felt is hand sewn too. I also used MFT Die-namics Polka Dot Greetings die and stamp set.
On the inside I did faux stitching with my new Silver gel pen.
And this is a cute little pure innocence girl with her dog(her hair is up in her hat)! And I paper pieced her pants, sweater, and hat, and the dog's scarf.

SSC 179 on Stamping 411

I did this card for the Stamping 411 sketch challenge this week. This is my new Lavender Scene stamp from Stampendous, and the stamp will be featured in my next class in January. This one is colored with Koh-i-noor pencils.

The polka dot paper is from A Walk in the Park from Echo Park. I stamped a PTI Fillable Frames sentiment on twill ribbon, and then ran it thru my Xyron sticker maker. I don't know why I forget to use that thing. It is so handy!

Pink & Black Monogram Set

this is an order that i received for a monogrammed gift set for a wedding present. i used a black and silver print with a pink as an accent color.
i have been trying to mix my patterns, and i like the way the Gothic Pink Stripe goes with the Medallion (both from Paper Studio). This one uses Nestabilities Label 8.
and this set uses Nestabilities Label One.

Masculine Faux Notebook

This is a manly card that I made recently. The patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket, the stamp is The Car from Stampington. I sponged with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and daubers, the car and the edges. I also punched holes at the top with a regular hole punch, and then used scissors to snip the edges so that it would look like it was torn from a wire bound book. I added a library clip from SU, and a Tim Holtz sprocket, those are so fun to work with!!

Turning Leaf Gift Set

this is a gift set that i made recently, using PTI Turning a New Leaf stamp set. it is 2 sets of 2 matching cards with envelopes and a matching vanilla candle.
i also used PTI Filliable Frames #1 die, with sentiments from FF# 1 & 5. these are stamped and sponged in Memento Bamboo Leaves.
i did a little extra "hop" with the fern leaf, to make it look shadowed. it is just a tiny detail that adds so much!

Are you sick of Clive yet?

I just had to show Clive one more time: on his way to his new home. I made a "hand stitched" label for his journey. And it cracks me up, because it looks like a Heavyweight Championship belt that he won for wrestling.

he is just too cute. maybe Kim will show him on some of their journeys to all those cool places they go. *wink, wink** hint hint.*

there are a mix of anniversary and thank you cards in the this set.

and the bag and tag can be reused for another gift. hope you like this one as much as i do, the colors are so fun!

this is the next class we will be having on Nov 12th, 10:30 and 6 at Scrapbook Haven in Owensboro. we will be making the 3 notebooks above. you should have enough paper left over from the class to make 2 or 3 more of these on your own.
the one on the left is the one we are making, but i wanted to show how this paper can be used differently with different colors. which one do you like best?

Stuffed Animals

Edited: both Clive and Bart have found new homes. I will miss you guys!
This is Clive.
He likes to hide behind things.

And this is his cousin, Bart.
He likes to climb on things.

These are both available to live in your home. They are made of fleece, and have safety eyes, for the little ones.
