i have big news! my friend, Kim Jones, owner of Serendipity, has asked me to be a part of a design team for her store. i will be using supplies that she sells in her store. you can find Serendipity at 19 S Main St, Henderson KY 42420.

the store has mostly A Muse stamps, JustRite Monogram stamp kits, and some Clear Stamps. she also has all kinds of scrapbooking paper, ribbon, buttons by the scoop, dew drops, stickles, and mostly chalk inks. my favorite find there is the Mono glue, and she has it half the price of hobby lobby. i always love a deal.
i did some sewing on the card with the buttons. i made another that i was able to sew the buttons onto the card, but forgot to use that one for the pic. the ric rac card has the center image popped up. i loved the way the paper piecing on the cupcake turned out, but hated cutting it out.
next, i used the DIY JustRite Monogram set, along with the dewdrops. this patterned paper is from Webster's Pages, delish, raspberry ruffle. i used a section to make a flap for the envelope, and then trimmed it to make a scalloped edge. she also has the paper punches that goes perfectly with the monograms (1 3/4" circle, and 2" scallop).
and this patterned paper is scalloped on the edges, but that really isn't manly for the golfer, so i trimmed it off. it is from Vintage Moon Collection by Holly McCaig called Moonrakers. (small tidbit about me is that i love the book Moonraker's Bride by Madeline Brent.)
