A Muse Mr & Mrs

i cropped these pics, but my picasa doesn't seem to be updating my pics. i can't figure it out.

this is another card we will be making in my latest class. it will be June 11th at 11:00, and June 13th at 2:00, at Serendipity(19 s main st, henderson, ky).

for this one we will use the cuttlebug and swiss dots embossing folder along with round and scalloped round nestabilities and oval nesties too.
the patterned paper is from Pink Paisley called sugar pie.

Congrats Class

this is a card we will be doing in my next class at Serendipity. the pink paper that is showing thru a cut out of the bride's dress is a crushed velvet from Doodlebug. the black and pink brads are also velvet from Doodlebug. the velvet is so soft. the vellum is from PTI.
it is a 5" square card, using the bride and groom stamp from A Muse. and the "truly, madly, deeply" stamp is from A Muse too.

the inside also has a velvet strip across the top.

Altered Frame

here is my first altered frame. the paper is from Dream Street, called Carma-Chamomile. it is doublesided, the small print on one side, the big blooms on the other.
i cut a few of the blooms and stems out for the corners. the ribbon is mellow moss from stampin' up.

Simple Floral Sympathy

i needed some sympathy cards this week, so i used the set that Betty gave me. From Stampin' Up, it is called Simple Florals. i used an aqua pen, and mellow moss ink for the leaves, and Memento bamboo leaves to darken. for the blooms, angel pink & rose bud. the pot is desert sand.

this is my fav Stampin' Up set. i use this set, when i don't know what else to use.

Pic chosen for Schmap

hey, i am so excited. one of my pics was chosen for schmap.com. it is one that i took when dave & i went to the butterfly conservatory in key west.

Vellum Wedding

i did a layer look with 2 kinds of vellum on this card.
the top layer of her dress and veil are stamped on a glittered vellum. the second layer of her dress is pti vellum which is a little thicker.

there is a mini card on the front, it opens up to the JustRite sentiment from the Wedding Ensemble set that i used for the wedding favors in the next post.

i know i went a little overboard with the pics, but i wanted you to see all the layers.

the black paper is a textured cardstock from kim's store, that i flipped over because it was a darker black. i will be using the textured side in the next wedding card that i will post later.

the pink paper is from Doodlebug Design Inc, called Paper Potpourri, the bubblegum boutique assortment that kim has in the store in 6x6 packages.

Wedding Favors

This was a request by Kim to use the JustRite Wedding Stamp Ensemble. So I made a place card and a wedding favor.
i used the labels nesties and folded it in half to make the bag topper, the ribbon is wrapped around the front side and thru the bag to come out the back side to tie.
