Stampers Sketch Challenge 177

i finally was able to finish this sketch challenge, and i was too late to get it entered. oh well, at least i did it.

this is my new Stampendous Sunflower scene stamp (one that we will be using in my next class!) and the sentiment is from Everyday Button Bits from PTI. i colored this with Koh-i-noor pencils and blending medium.

Masculine Faux Notebook

This is a manly card that I made recently. The patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket, the stamp is The Car from Stampington. I sponged with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and daubers, the car and the edges. I also punched holes at the top with a regular hole punch, and then used scissors to snip the edges so that it would look like it was torn from a wire bound book. I added a library clip from SU, and a Tim Holtz sprocket, those are so fun to work with!!

Turning Leaf Gift Set

this is a gift set that i made recently, using PTI Turning a New Leaf stamp set. it is 2 sets of 2 matching cards with envelopes and a matching vanilla candle.

i also used PTI Filliable Frames #1 die, with sentiments from FF# 1 & 5. these are stamped and sponged in Memento Bamboo Leaves.
i did a little extra "hop" with the fern leaf, to make it look shadowed. it is just a tiny detail that adds so much!

Are you sick of Clive yet?

I just had to show Clive one more time: on his way to his new home. I made a "hand stitched" label for his journey. And it cracks me up, because it looks like a Heavyweight Championship belt that he won for wrestling.

he is just too cute. maybe Kim will show him on some of their journeys to all those cool places they go. *wink, wink** hint hint.*

Gift Package

woo hoo! i made a sale of this note card gift set, so i just had to make a matching tag, and bag to go with. i just used the scrap paper i had left to decorate a plain craft gift bag. and it turned out to be a nice little gift set.

there are a mix of anniversary and thank you cards in the this set.

and the bag and tag can be reused for another gift. hope you like this one as much as i do, the colors are so fun!

Shopping List Notebooks Class

this is the next class we will be having on Nov 12th, 10:30 and 6 at Scrapbook Haven in Owensboro. we will be making the 3 notebooks above. you should have enough paper left over from the class to make 2 or 3 more of these on your own.

the one on the left is the one we are making, but i wanted to show how this paper can be used differently with different colors. which one do you like best?

Another Lil Bicycle Card

erin asked about baby cards, and i couldn't find the ones that i made with my paper winnings, so here is another one. the bug and phrase are rub-on, i have never used those before. they were fun, i may have to do some more.
